Now I had no clue how to fix this but a local tech from the nearby pinball museum was able to come over and fix the coil and also checked and swapped out some others parts that got burnt out because of the locked coil. But one night had friends over and what happened was a coil locked, no idea at the time but it overheated, the entire machine was smoking. Obviously you learn and want to study the pins and be able to do stuff on your own, I've had to learn to do some basic things such as changing oil coils, springs, cleaning etc. I know some pinball dealers will sell a machine with an included warranty, like they will come out to you if anything happens to it within a year, but also can come service it if needed.

In that sense I would personally buy pin from a local business who also can maintenance them. If something goes wrong you probably need a person who can do some repairs so I would see if you got folks who can help. Pinballs need regular maintenance and no matter how well you take care of them, parts eventually need replacing and such.

I would recommend finding out if you have a local place or people who can help you with your pin if anything were to happen to it. For both of them I was just juggling the ball until game over. I'm very good at the speed bag but am still figuring out the jump rope, I can clear it once but I'm not sure what rhythm or if I'm supposed to alternate flippers, no idea yetįrankenstein and Phantom of the Opera - both very good but I have no idea what to shoot for. keep accidentally starting multiball, not sure when I'm supposed to save it for. I learned the timing of the skill shot and can get it every time now. After I realized I shot down my first ship a little bit after, feels good manĬhampion Pub - also awesome, can't beat the first guy though. I did not know to shoot the middle at first, some ramps are flashing so I was shooting for them instead. I am continuing to try new tables between the FX3 and TPA sales, I have like 100 new ones between the 2 of them and am very drip feeding when ready.īlack Rose - Awesome, I want to see how the cannon works in real life. I am headed to a pinball convention this Fri on the east coast, Allentown Pinfestival, anyone ever heard of it or been there? This will be my first time with irl pinball machines.
